Feeling helpless and afraid you look in both directions of the tunnel. Each ends in an abyss of inky darkness. Standing in the dismal damp station you are almost hypnotized by the sound of dripping water echoing in the long tunnel chamber. Sleep would be such a comfort now. You are jolted back to your situation by a sudden vibration under your feet accompanied by a heavy thump. Then another and another. There is no mistaking the noise. It's slow and steady footsteps, but from something monstrous.

Pressing yourself against the mossy, wet walls you move quickly down the tunnel away from whatever beast is coming for you. Along the way you discover doors. Maybe one will be the exit out of this nightmare. Hurry, the heavy footsteps have quickened. You are now being chased by an unknown horror.
