The noise is a mix of chirp, a cry of a crow, and a low purring. A path takes you to a forest area where you discover the source of the strange sound. Sitting on an overstuffed chair in front of a campfire sits a creature only a nightmare could conjure. Not all human, and not all beast, its head is that of a bird. A crow is perched on the creatures head. With a big inhale and then a loud exhale, the man-bird regurgitates and spits out the gob at your feet. The silence is broken when the man-bird begins to loudly proclaim in a high pitched screeching voice: "I've plucked and soaked myself in herbs. We will have such a feast. The fire is almost ready for me to go into, I want it nice and hot so I can be so toasty roasty! I'll be so delicious. I can't wait to eat me. Would you like to stay for dinner?
