Stone walls and rusty iron bars enclose a dark shape that stands in the darkened corner of a small cell. Walking closer the dark form begins to slowly grow. It growls as it turns around. Its appearance causes you to step back in haste. It's ghastly pale with rows of sharp teeth framed by a hideous macabre grimmace. "I am Babadook. I came from a book and grew stronger with dreams. Once you see me you never forget me. I will haunt you forever in your Nightmares. You should close your eyes and let sleep take you. It will be easier for you if you surrender now. Let the Night Hag take you. The alternative is worse for some. The shadow girl roams freely here. The Night Hag lets her do anything she likes. All of it deliciously evil and cruel." "Be my friend and unlock my cell. I can help you endure the Nightmare world. The shadow girl is fond of me. I read her stories from my book. Then she leaves and tortures something else." The Babadook's hypnotic eyes makes you want to close your eyes and sleep. As he begins growling again you see that his arms have become very long. At the end are sharp claws. Snapping out of the haze you wisely turn and run. The Babadook's low growling becomes enraged screaming.
