You have decided to warm yourself and calm your nerves with a sip of wine. You open the book and are amazed to find that these are the Doctor's notes. He performed hundreds of experiments in this house. The entrance to the laboratory is through a secret passageway that is in the wine cellar. There is a map of the exact location. But, before you go there, you decide you had better read more. You don't want any unpleasant surprises. You've had enough of those already. It seems his experiments were in cloning and towards the end, when he had gone completely insane, he was attempting to clone himself. All of his experiments were gruesome failures. The whole notebook was entry after entry of torture!  Suddenly, out of the corner of your eye, you spot a row of jars! You crawl closer to take a look and recoil in fear and disgust. No doubt these are some of the doctors failed experiments!! You wonder if any of them are missing townsfolk or the missing investigator that disappeared with this book years ago!! You quickly cover them up with some old cloth and go back to the book. Suddenly, you feel a wave of sleepiness come over you that you can't fight. Maybe the wine was too old and potent to drink. You can't keep your eyes open and drop the book and the remaining wine. You fall into a deep sleep! Just before you do, you hear a ghastly sound but you can't fight off the sleepiness.
