You have managed to move the bookcase from the door. It's pitch black in here but in the flashing lightning you can see it's a large library. Row after row of bookcases that reach to the crumbling ceiling. Straight ahead appears to be a fireplace with candle holders on each side. Maybe you can light the candles and get a fire going in the old fireplace. It looks like there may be some logs already on the hearth.  You light the candles. You look up to see there is a painting of a ghoulish young girl.....then you look down. Those were no logs in the fireplace, they are human remains! As you look around the huge library you see there are skulls scattered among the bookcases being used as bookends!
One of the books catches your eye. The front of the book is covered with a raised skull. You can't help but wonder what horrors are inside. 
Click here to open the book if you dare! A clap of thunder startles you causing you to almost fall into a dead faint. As you start to fall you grab hold of the mantle of the fireplace. There is a lever underneath and it stops your fall. You hear a creaking and scraping noise and see that by grabbing the lever you have opened two passageways that were hidden behind the bookcases! You're not alone in this room, something is close behind you! The only way out is through the passageways. † I'll run to the left passageway! Copyright © 1998-2009 M.
