You hand your host the crumpled paper. He stares at you coldly then invites you into his library where he can read this paper.  Once inside the library the door slams shut and you are left in the dim and dusty room with your host. He tells you, "It makes no difference to me if you have read this paper or not, it's time to settle the score. You know too much."
And with that he quickly reaches behind you and opens a secret compartment then pushes you in and down. Acid. You have been pushed into a vat of acid. In less than a minute even your bones are dissolved! I will send you back, but this time keep the paper. OK? Send me back WITH my skin please!  I'll keep the paper!
