 You turn to continue down the long, dark hallway. Each door you pass is locked until you reach the end of the hall. This door opens. It is a large gathering hall. Steep steps lead down to it.
You see movement below and wisely decide not to explore this part of the old mansion. Whatever is down the stairs is not human. They slowly turn and stare up at you. Time for you to leave! You turn to exit but the weak light falls on several shiny objects on the floor! You have found some rings! These rings are solid gold and very heavy. They must be worth a small fortune! Congratulations, you have found a treasure. You need to leave this room quickly. The creatures down the stairs have seen you and are calling other creatures to catch you! They are very hungry.  Back to the hall!
