 You have entered a corridor lined with mirrors. In the mortal world it is unlucky to look into a mirror at night or by candlelight for you will see ghosts or the devil. In Purgatory it is always night and the only inhabitants here are ghosts. The Hall of Mirrors is also a danger to souls. If you stare at yourself too long in a mirror a dark spirit will pull you inside and trap you forever. As you look into the mirror it cracks. You looked at the mirror too long! What do you see beyond the broken mirror?
