 Endless dark corridors...one could easily become lost here. There are no common directions in Purgatory, north, south, east, or west do not exist. You have entered another dimension of time and space. As you look behind you it appears you are looking down. As you look ahead it appears you will be walking straight up. If you turn it appears you will be walking up the walls.
Shadows take on moving shapes. Goblins, ghouls, monsters...who are these creatures that wander Purgatory, where the veil is the thinnest between the world of the living and the realm of the dead? Once they were mortal like you. The candle on the wall suddenly dims - it means a spirit is very close to you. It's best to move on. |
