The guarded door has led you outside the boarding house, yet often one release simply finds you trapped in another prison in this realm. There seems to be no escape from the perpetual darkness, but this place is a refuge for the Keepers, a Sanctuary. The truth of why you are here is about to be revealed.

The storm you arrived in continues to be fierce. Cold rain and wind beat down on you and the lightning strikes so close it seems to burn the air. Something else is in the air that burns your lungs, it's the smell of sulphur.

The Keeper of Dark Time points to a statue which resembles that of a Keeper. It holds an offering bowl with objects inside it. The Keeper of Dark Time continues to point as you stand before the bowl and remove the contents. He then leads you to the door of a crypt like structure and still without speaking gestures for you to enter.

The intensity of the storm increases along with the smell of sulphur as you enter the structure. The Keeper of Dark Time moves back to the statue, bows his head, and you witness him seemingly to ever so slowly dissolve. The shimmering light filled particles hang in the air like dust and begin to spin and fill a circle. Then they begin to fall like snow and melt away as they hit the ground. The Keeper of Dark Time is no more, leaving you frighteningly alone.
