A closer look reveals a grissly scene of a zombie attack. More zombies could be nearby, better keep moving. After several miles the gravel road ends and a highway crosses it. Because marauders patrol the highways it's best not to travel on the roadway so you parallel it and stay hidden. This road leads you into a small town. Your final destination to the scientists last know whereabouts is at least 100 miles away. It may as well be 1,000 miles. Your odds of survival on foot are about 1,000,000,000 to 1.
