You have decided to try to save the family. The zombie horde numbers are at least 100. Although they are generally slow moving they tend to surround victims and overwhelm them. The zombies have almost formed a circle around the sleeping humans. You have no weapons. The zombies are closing in, in desperation you pick up the only thing available to you - a rock. You throw the rock at the nearest zombie, smashing his rotting head and emptying out his maggot infested brains. At the same time you scream at the top of your lungs bringing the full attention of the zombies to yourself. The family awakes and is able to pick up the children and run away, barely escaping being eaten alive. The zombie horde is now fully concentrated on you, some chewing on their own extremeties in frustration. While running you look behind in confidence that you're leaving the zombie horde far behind. Instead you should have been looking ahead. The ground is littered with rock. You trip over one that sends you crashing head first into another rock which fractures your skull. The smell of blood and brains leads the zombie horde to you. You are in and out of consciouness as you become the all you can eat buffet for the ghouls. You sacrified yourself for the family.
