You have decided to walk the rest of the way. You can stay out of the open and not draw attention to yourself - much safer than driving up in a car. It's a cold gray morning with heavy clouds. Looks like more snow is on the way. You bundle up the best you can, you share some rations with the dog and begin the walk towards the town. A few miles ahead the town becomes visible. There is a steady snowfall now and getting colder. Besides the possibility of freezing to death you'll have to figure out a way to find out where the scientist lives. The town is eerily quiet except for an occasional store sign clanking against something, or a door slamming open and shut in the wind. As you survey the town you need to decide where to start first in your search. Pulling out your map you look at places that might hold clues or supplies.
