You decide to try the front door. The sidewalk and porch are not covered in snow yet. Even though the majority of zombies have lost their ability to think, some still have enough brain function to follow your tracks in the snow. As long as you can cover your tracks and get inside safely there's a very good chance they will just forget what they are doing and eventually stumble on. The door is locked but with the end of your gun you knock out the glass pane, reach inside and unlock the door. The scientist had prepared his home well for the zombie invasion, the windows have steel bars installed and the front door has a secondary steel reinforced door that pulls down from the ceiling. You pull it down and it locks into place. You have reached a safehouse. The house is well stocked, all rooms filled floor to ceiling with water, food, weapons, ammo, medical supplies, clothing, various electronic devices, and batteries to fit any equipment. Outside the zombies are shuffling in a circle, no doubt confused and soon to forget why they are here. It's best to remain quiet and wait for the horde to move on. You and the dog wait. ![]() Frightbytes(R) Zombie Hell © 2015-Hell Freezes Over Frightbytes.com |
