As you reach the car you're shocked to find that the massive tree that had blocked you is miraculously gone. With a new sense of urgency you quickly turn the car around and start putting miles between yourself, the Carnival of Terror, and Salems Marsh. It doesn't matter where you're headed, all that matters is leaving this haunted place.
After quite a long time driving things are beginning to look familiar and a terrible unease comes over you. In a panic you realize you have gone in a circle and are back in dreaded Salems Marsh and the path to the Carnival. Turning the car around you drive away once again looking for the road you must have missed.
Some time later you're back in the dreadful place you started from. Again and again you leave and end up back in Salems Marsh. Over and over...over and over...no way out.
