 At the top of the stairs you hear a noise and look down. Your deathly host has returned and will discover you gone! You run past the bloody scarf down the dark halls. There must be another stairway leading downstairs in a house this size. So you continue into the dark hallways. As the lightning flashes it appears the walls are the color of blood!
You have almost reached the end of the hallway. Footsteps echo in the hall behind you. No doubt it's your horrible host tracking you down. There are two doors within your reach. One direcly in front of you, the other to your left. Perhaps you should just confront him.
