Zombie Text Adventure

With shaking hands the scientist empties the contents of a pouch. Four vials spill out. They will be used in the banishment spell. Mardis shrieks in rage as the spells are read outloud. The fire rages around Mardis as she burns like a dried corn husk. The words in the book appear to be burning as well. With one final scream everything grows silent and the flames disappear. All that remains of Mardis Salem is a small pile of smoking bones. The evil statues have frozen in place and are once again only stone.
