You have chosen to enter the cabin. Dusty particles float in the room in the fading light. The place smells a bit musty, but there is no scent of decomposition. Whoever used to live here left a long time ago. In a quick inventory you see many useful items to help in your survival. Batteries, guns, ammo, clothing, and medical supplies. And most importantly bags of K-rations and water supplies all issued years before the plague and safe to consume. In the bedroom you find a laptop computer.
