You have reached the end of the tunnel. The only light is from the rail car and flashlight. You shine it on the tunnel wall and find a vault door. Entering the passcode on the doors keypad it opens with a hiss and a cloud of vapor. Once you go out the door it will be locked to keep out zombies and other intruders. Standing inside a bunker you realize it had been breached. Desks and equipment is overturned and broken. Pieces of skeletal human remains are scattered in the debris. A bloody text device lays next to the body. The screen is damaged but the unit still has power. You turn it on and read what are clearly the last words of a soldier. The massively reinforced metal door from the bunker to the outside is heavily damaged. It looks like it has been physically ripped from it's metal frame. The door is dented, collapsed, and has deep clawlike scarring in the metal. What kind of beast could have done this? The bunker door goes to a maintenance hallway. A stairway will take you outside to the streets of the city. Another door at the end of this hallway opens up to the subway. Who knows where the darkened tunnels will lead you.
