This safehouse like the others has it's own power supply and in this lighted room you see many more human survivors. During the scientists many trips in and out of the city he's found stranded survivors and brought them to the safehouse until a better and more permanent safe haven can be found. The scientist tells you he may have found a cure for the zombie plague but will explain everything later. Right now it's time for the two of you to get out of there. Time is running out. From the darkness of a back room comes a zombie. As you raise the shotgun the scientist tells you to lower it. This zombie had been a leader of a group of survivors and was bitten while defending the others. He has been temporarily cured of his appetite for human brains and flesh and is an asset to this small group of survivors. Like the research assistant the zombie transformation has been slowed down by the specially created formula. He can move about freely among other zombies and bring back supplies. The survivors will be safe here for a short time until other arrangements can be made. The scientist quickly gathers important materials into a briefcase, then unlocks the door. Slowly, with his weapon drawn, he opens the door then beckons you to follow. He assures the survivors that he'll return for them. In the hallway a bloody mess of stinking body parts are scattered across the floor. Out of the shadows the dog comes to you. Her mouth and fur bloody. It seems the dog will benefit the survivors greatly and it's decided she should remain with them until a safer location is found.
