The heavy stone door grinds open. A sarcophagus is in the center of the room. Surrounding it are 13 horrible demonic carved statues. Examining them closer you find they are casket lids that cover small caskets of the 13 sacrificial children. Their blood has brought her back to life. Standing over the sarcophagus you and the scientist struggle to push open the lid to reveal Mardis' body. The lid falls to the ground and you look in. All at once a tremendous gust of wind, dust, and a foul stench blows from the open crypt knocking you to the ground. With glowing eyes Mardis Salem seems to float out of her crypt in a gust of dusty stinking air. As your vision clears you see the scientist held up in the vice-like grasp of a ghoulish woman. Mardis Salem has been waiting for you. And she's not alone. Something is happening to the evil stone statues, they seem to be moving.
